Frequently Asked Questions

Is Nummeric free?

Nummeric is a one-time purchase. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads. You buy it once and own it forever, with free updates.

Does Nummeric require an internet connection?

No. Every calculator works offline. Beyond that, the internet is used only for live currency exchange rates (cached for offline use), the anonymous diagnostics and analytics described below, a one-time Apple Search Ads attribution check at first launch — and optional iCloud sync, if you enable it.

Does Nummeric collect my data?

No personal data. Nummeric has no ads, no advertising identifier, and no account. Your calculations never leave your device. To fix bugs and improve the app, it does send anonymous usage analytics and crash reports to the developer (via Firebase) — never your calculations or personal data, and with no cross-app ad tracking. Does Apple Intelligence require an internet connection?

The AI features in Nummeric (Ask Nummeric, smart paste, history insights) use Apple's on-device FoundationModels framework. All processing happens locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.

Can I sync across devices?

Yes. Nummeric supports optional iCloud sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac for your calculation history, notebooks, and scratchpad. It is off by default — you can enable it in Settings. No account is required — it uses your existing Apple ID. The Apple Watch and Vision Pro apps keep their data on-device and don't sync.

Which platforms are supported?

Nummeric runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel), Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. One purchase covers all platforms.
